Valeria began modeling at a young age, which of course came with its own hurdles, adventures, and learning experiences. This also gave her a window into the fashion and beauty world, one she would immerse herself in and quickly develop a passion for. She began on the path to VALERIA INC. by uploading her pregnancy journeys onto YouTube in 2016, hoping to connect with the wider world, because what she was going through was unique but at the same time, entirely universal. Cut to building VALERIA INC. alongside her husband Gary and a team of creators that produce and deploy alongside her daily, and who share her vision for delivering meaningful content to a global audience daily.
As the CEO at VALERIA INC., Rachel oversees our company’s vision and strategy, ensuring brand alignment and fostering meaningful and long-term brand partnerships. Her goal is to continue the growth of VALERIA INC. and establish Valeria into a global household name brand. Rachel brings 10+ years of marketing experience and 5+ years of executive experience in growing rocketship companies. She loves being on the cusp of the future, and this industry and form of new media and partnerships is where advertising and media are heading. She gets to work with the most talented, passionate, and beautiful human beings who inspire her every day. She's lived and worked in four different countries, and is now settled in Canada with her growing family.
Gary is Co-Founder of Valeria Inc. His experience in online marketing started in 1996 and includes social, search and banner advertising, directory marketing, content creation and marketing, ecommerce, advanced data analytics, and affiliate marketing. In 2015 he crossed over into influencer marketing by partnering with his wife, content creator, Valeria Lipovetsky. Working together, they’ve fostered a collective audience of over 6.3M people across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook and have curated a team of 16 industry professionals to help serve over 300 brand partners.
Kimmy has been a part of VALERIA INC. since its infancy, responsible for managing Valeria’s brand & strategic partnerships. She loves strategizing ways we can build out future partnerships based on data and market trends, and her social-first mentality makes her feel truly connected to our partners. She has a BA in Communications and Writing from the University of Western Ontario and certificates in Writing and Fashion Industry Essentials. A very spiritual person, she swears by her meditation practice called Vedic meditation that keeps her sane!
As the Director of Production, Megan owns the end-to-end process of content creation, including ideating, scheduling, direction, and all post-production needs. She likes the diversity of the content her team produces and the work in general - every day holds something new! She has a background in design, and has done everything from photography to animation to installation work. She also collects teapots!
As the Director of Client Relations, Lauren is the Middle-woman between the Sales team and the Production team. She's the client’s point person during their campaign with us, and absolutely loves working here because she works with so many amazing brands. The social landscape is ever-changing, so she's always learning something new. Lauren worked in the fashion industry before interning with an ad agency which lead her to VALERIA INC. It’s the perfect mix of both of those world. Fun fact - she grew up in Newfoundland!
As the Director of Finance for VALERIA INC., Kiran focuses on the strategic function of finance and HR. She studied at McMaster University and Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario. In the past, she spearheaded financial controls, financial reporting packages, investment reporting, acquisitions/dispositions of assets for top-tier North American companies. Her favorite TV show is "Billions", and she thrives near the ocean under palm trees, and can't imagine life without some house music.
As a Client Relations Manager, Seonaid's role focuses on building relationships with clients to ensure that their needs are met, they are satisfied with the services and/or products provided by VALERIA INC., and any challenges are overcome. Coming from an agency background, she's worked in Toronto for the past 5 years in both the public relations and influencer marketing sectors. She lived on both Canadian coast lines, growing up in Vancouver and attending Dalhousie University in Halifax.
As Brand and Social Media Manager, Jessica is responsible for setting our content strategy across Instagram and TikTok. Her role is focused around two pillars: growth and engagement, which involves analyzing performance data across platforms, staying on top of trends, and working closely with the team and Valeria to execute on our strategies. She loves how fast-paced the social media industry is and the way our company embraces it – there’s never a dull moment at VALERIA INC! Jessica got my BA in Media, Information, and Technoculture at Western University and worked in the tech space before pivoting to social media. She also fostered two cats during the first COVID lockdown and it became a foster fail — their names are Grey and Stormy.
As the Youtube Brand Manager at VALERIA INC., Eve focuses on managing community engagement and creating long-form content. She has a film background with an Honours Bachelor of Film and Television from Sheridan College where she graduated as Valedictorian with High Honours. Fun fact, Eve has 12 siblings ranging from 3 to 32 years old.
At Valeria Inc. Erisa focuses on executing requirements for the finance department. She has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from York University where she specialized in accounting and is on the path to becoming a CPA. Erisa has experience working in the public sector for 3 years. She loves being a part of a growing industry where she is able to blend her interests of media and business.
As a Marketing Manager, Judy’s role spans a variety of different responsibilities at VALERIA INC. Over the years, she has honed her skills in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns that deliver results. Judy is all about leveraging the latest trends in influencer marketing and social media to drive brand awareness and engagement. Coming from an agency background with experience in both the corporate and startup world, Judy lead’s with her entrepreneurial spirit, passion for influencer marketing, and strategic brand building. She attended Queen’s university for a bachelor of Film & Media followed by a Masters of Media Management from Parsons: The New School.
At VALERIA INC., Gabi helps execute operational requirements of the Finance and HR department. She graduated from the University of Florida, studying political science and international relations. Her first job out of college was a sexual assault advocate at a non-profit, she then entered into the world of finance where she worked for Ernst & Young and Deutsche Bank. She's thrilled to now have the opportunity to work in finance within the fashion and media industry. Fun fact, she speaks Portuguese fluently and loves to travel!
